Alloy F6NM (UNS S41500)
Alloy F6NM is a low-carbon martensitic stainless steel supplied in the quenched and tempered condition. It combines high strength, good toughness, and improved corrosion resistance compared with conventional martensitic grades.
The alloy offers excellent weldability and resistance to hydrogen-induced cracking. It is commonly used in turbine components, pump shafts, valves, and offshore applications requiring high mechanical strength and reliability.
